Our commitment to transparency
We publish information that is accurate at the time of publication and we correct it when it changes. Where we do not have verified information, we say so rather than fill the gap with something approximate.
Accurate public information
This website deliberately contains no invented statistics, testimonials, partner names, awards or project histories. Sections that are ready for future content are marked as empty instead of being filled with examples.
Accountability
Members who take responsibility for an activity report back to the club about how it went. Decisions concerning the club are made by its members, not by an individual acting alone.
Responsible communication
We do not overstate what the club has done and we do not claim recognition, certification or verification that has not been granted. Public statements should be something we can stand behind if asked.
Privacy and handling of information
Personal details sent to us — for example through the contact form — are used only to reply and are not sold or shared for marketing. Details are set out in the privacy policy.
Responsible volunteer engagement
Volunteering with the club is unpaid and voluntary. We try to be clear in advance about what an activity involves, how much time it takes and what is expected, so that nobody commits to something on the basis of a vague description.
Ethical community work
We work with people, not around them. Photographs are published for organizational communication; if someone shown does not wish to appear, we remove the photograph on request.
