Governance and structure
The club is run by its members. This page describes how decisions are made and what responsibilities exist, without naming individuals.
A member-led organization
Rotaract Club Skopje is a voluntary association of young people. Its direction is set collectively by its members rather than by a paid management structure. Members propose activities, discuss them together and take shared responsibility for carrying them out.
How decisions are made
Proposals are presented at club meetings, discussed openly and decided by the members present. Anyone taking on a task is expected to report back so that the whole club knows what happened and what it cost in time or effort.
Roles and responsibilities
Like other Rotaract clubs, the club works with a small number of officer roles and activity leads. These roles are held by members for a defined period and rotate, so responsibility and experience are shared across the membership rather than concentrated in one person.
- Leading meetings and representing the club
- Keeping records of decisions and activities
- Handling club finances responsibly
- Coordinating individual activities and volunteers
- Communication with members and the public
Meetings
The club meets regularly. Meetings are used to plan activities, review what has been done and welcome new members. Guests who are considering joining can attend a meeting after arranging it with the club.
Membership
Membership is open to young people who want to contribute to the community and take part in the club's work. Members are expected to attend, to take on responsibility when they accept a task and to represent the club respectfully.
Ethical standards
The club expects honesty in what is said publicly, care in handling information about other people, and respect towards everyone involved in an activity. Conflicts of interest should be disclosed before a decision is taken, not after.
